1 Empire, 9 Factions, 1 Story

In the year 2080, the periphery of the Fidelian Empire is home to a total of nine factions. Each faction maintains its own relationship to Fidelia, ranging from friendly to hostile, and some being submissive, all surviving through diverse means.

Here's a brief overview of these factions:

Fidelian Empire - The Fidelian Empire, ruled by Jake Marcus, is a powerful and authoritarian regime. It upholds a strict social hierarchy, employing military force and advanced technology such as the Titan bipedal weapon, to assert dominance and control over the North American region.

Blattas - Led by Lahar, a group of orphaned, armed children survives in the post-war wasteland by scavenging from other survivors. Lahar's knowledge of resource conservation and survival in confined spaces is crucial.

Hunters - A mercenary group hired by the Fidelian Empire to carry out challenging tasks, led by former slave camp commander, Biff, who controls his unit of former slaves through violence and incentives.

Jack N Boyz - A gang of outlaws led by criminal Jack Gray. Most of the initial members hailed from the Fidelian Empire. They were sentenced to death under the Empire's strict laws. They escaped with Jack Gray while serving their sentence.

Nine Fingers - A group of escaped gladiator slaves led by Leopart, who fled the Fidelian Empire in search of freedom, gathering fellow fighters from the arena, slave workers, and other civilians.

Gary's Lounge - Operated by former assassin Gary Haddenberg, this bar generates income through intelligence sales and secretive assassination missions. It maintains a veil of limited understanding and awareness among outsiders.

Caballeros - Led by Morales Fiago, this group of soldiers is composed of Spanish immigrants who prioritize lineage and consider themselves apostles of mercy. They enforce justice against the unjust empire.

Quasars - An independent resistance group led by former general Turner Cobain. They gather skilled soldiers and civilians to establish a base and fight against the Fidelian Empire’s expansion, adapting their strategies to command a small elite force for maximum impact.

Zaikasha - An elite resistance group led by Rio Crassus, a disillusioned former Fidelian Empire officer. Its highly trained members operate like a close-knit family, dedicated to specialized missions against the empire.

Kossacks - Led by the ruthless Kin, this powerful group of mercenaries is renowned for their unmatched fighting abilities, relentless drive, and emotionless demeanor.

NFT Collection

Harriers

We consider Fidelion NFTs to be the cornerstone of the NFT ecosystem, and we've meticulously planned every Web3-related detail of this NFT collection. Fidelion NFTs are not just gaming NFTs - this collection is designed to be valuable beyond the game so that the NFTs can stand on their own.

The NFT collection is a total of 9,000 Solana-based digital assets. The collection was carefully crafted over the course of about six months and consists of 570 different traits, the largest number of Solana-based NFTs, each of which is assigned an attribute from one of nine factions.

Citizens (Empire NFT)

In August 2024, we are introducing a revolutionary new NFT line-up called 'Citizen' These NFTs represent the citizens living inside Fidelion, each with unique traits, characteristics, and utilities for Black Market 2.

This unique NFT collection will consist of only 3,000 pieces on the Solana blockchain. With over 480 traits, this is a significantly high number given the collection size. This high-standard collection will play a critical role in the game "Black Market Season 2," including manufacturing "Raw Materials," which are essential components of the game.

More details on this content will be announced later.

Token Economy

Fidelion NFT can be staked to earn tokens. The payout of $VALOR tokens from staking is essentially determined by the number of NFTs staked. These tokens will be utilized in various ways, including raffles, auctions, participation in the Fidelion Empire collection, and NFT upgrades.

We're preparing for Black Market 2(NFT-Fi) to make these stakes more engaging and fun. You can see more descriptions of these on the Black Market 2 (NFT-Fi).

Merchandise

The tokens earned through Fidelion NFTs will also be utilized to purchase a variety of limited-edition merchandise items. The quantity of each item will vary depending on whether they are mass-produced.

The Fidelion project doesn't think of branded merchandise as just a black hoodie with a white logo. We understand the huge frustration with the boring and predictable designs of merchandise that pervade the entire NFT scene, which is why we've teamed up with Metaganji, a Web2 fashion platform builder with over 20 years of experience in the Web3 fashion industry, to create one of the best art collections ever seen on the blockchain.

All merchandise issued on Fidelion will be of the best quality and unique design. A separate website platform will allow for the easy purchase of merchandise as well as purchases through raffles, auctions, etc.

*Merchandise will have different shipping and handling fees depending on the destination.

Background & Mission

Founding background and studio mission

Background

When it comes to services utilizing NFTs on Web3, we distinguish between two distinct categories: NFTs based solely on PFP (Profile Picture) and the NFT industry based on utility, such as gaming. These represent two entirely different areas within the NFT space.

  1. IP-Based NFT Industry: The NFT industry centered around PFP places its focus on establishing and maintaining communities founded on membership. Here, the value of NFTs often lies in the uniqueness of profile pictures. While this sector has successfully created strong initial NFT communities, it grapples with a significant challenge in sustaining its revenue structure. Currently, the sole source of revenue for foundations in this realm is creator royalties (foundation fees) from NFT transactions. Our goal is to achieve a milestone in the NFT industry initially, establishing a solid foundation and expanding our business into the Web2 content industry, including web novels, webtoons, and larger media. Our strength in building a serious IP is already gaining significant recognition in the Web2 content industry, with plans to launch IP content in Q4 of 2024.

  2. Web3 On-chain Gaming Industry: In contrast, the Web3 on-chain gaming market sees NFTs as digital assets that maintain the value of in-game skins or items. This sector has already witnessed the emergence of numerous gaming projects. However, only a handful of these projects harness the power of PFP communities. While Web3 on-chain games have the potential for exponential growth, primarily through the issuance of tokens and in-game sales, they face unique challenges. Success in an on-chain game project is intrinsically tied to the value of the tokens, which can lead to perceptions of unreliability and lack of sustainability. Notably, many NFT-based Web3 games adopt a Ponzi-like structure, making it easy for gamers solely seeking profit to disrupt incentives and harm the community. Consequently, building a strong, supportive community remains a significant struggle for many games, with some ultimately failing due to speculators, known as "flippers," who quickly buy and sell tokens for profit.

All in all, in many cases, these two industries have failed to coexist and have remained separate for now.

Mission

Our primary objective is to foster synergies and bridge the gap between these two distinct industries. NFTs can serve as a valuable tool for nurturing a robust community with Web2 IP value propositions, ensuring unwavering support for the project, while on-chain games provide a clear revenue stream that fuels the project's sustainability.

We firmly believe that the strengths of both industries can compensate for each other's weaknesses, and we see this as the pivotal factor for the success of the expansion of Web3-based industries.

Story

In the year 2080, humanity is facing a serious crisis in the aftermath of the last nuclear war. Actually, it's not a crisis at all. A crisis is called a crisis when it is accompanied by an opportunity, and in the current situation, humanity no longer has an opportunity. Some argue that nuclear war is a divine punishment for humanity as a whole, which is understandable given that we are heading for more and more chaos. Here, there is no hope left.

All that Remains

What remains of humanity are the suffering survivors in the ruins and the absolute lack of resources. It's a terrible consequence of human selfishness and greed that is no one's fault, and we can't blame anyone. The land is drying up, the water is polluted, and life in the ashes is taking a turn for the worst.

Some civilizations have barely risen from the ashes, but humanity is still groaning under the weight of the malice and chaos that has spread across the world. Without a functioning government, societies have lost their rules and norms and are in complete chaos, and people struggling to maintain their lives.

Aftermaths of Nuclear Attack

Those living in the United States are in an even more dire situation, not only because of the aftermath of the nuclear bomb but also because of the EMP-only nuclear reaction weapons that were actively deployed by the hostile during the war. This nuclear attack, designed to shut down all semiconductor devices, wiped out more than 95% of semiconductor equipment across the United States, and humanity, which relies on semiconductors and digital devices to advance civilization, suddenly without technology in general.

Decades after the war was forced to end with over 90% of the population wiped out.

The "long winter" caused by nuclear weapons ended after 20 years.
As the aerosols covering the sky cleared, sunlight began to reach the ground locally, and low plants grew to replace the existing vegetation that had died.
People who had been hiding in underground bunkers and shelters, surviving on emergency supplies began to return to the surface once again. Agriculture resumed to the extent that it was possible with less sunlight.

Reigniting the "Fuel" by Emperor Jake

The powerful EMP knocked out all electronics, rendering most of the old internal combustion engines with electronic controls unusable. Fortunately, the knowledge of mechanics with mechanic controls remained, and it was possible to retrofit and build engines using the old engines. Along with food production, the surviving human population's concern became securing "fuel" to run their engines.

In this new world, oil and diesel engines were once again recognized for their value, and the technology that had been discarded for the survival of mankind had returned, ironically, in the name of hope in the face of larger catastrophes.

The first to recognize this opportunity was Emperor Jake, who quickly seized upon it, creating the infamous empire of Fidelia that would last for centuries to come.

Fidelion is now its core as a massive oil rig and the infamous tower that sits at the center of the empire.

Black Market 2 : Road to Fidelia

Next page of the Black Market of Fidelia

"---ha, speaking of revenue, I've been hearing about this group called '[REDACTED] [REDACTED] Cartel'. They don't raid things; they actually build their own facility to create each faction's products. Making those products by hand, connecting all the factions, and selling them on the Black Market would be a load of money, don't you think?

--- But yeah, you're probably right; it's likely just more nonsense from random idiots."

Sometime around 2080, in the world of Fidelia, there are two distinct groups of people: those inside the Empire Fidelia and those outside it. Within the Fidelion Empire, everyone has a role, even slaves. Nothing goes to waste; everything is fully utilized.

In stark contrast, people outside Fidelion live in a completely opposite situation. They do whatever it takes to survive and make a profit. Whether they belong to a faction with specific tasks or are random harriers, they must find ways to get by. Among the outsiders, there are various ways to earn money. As a player, you were involved in this world as a raider, attacking other facilities to steal goods and valuables. But this time, things are different. You wanted to become more than just a raider. You became a part of a "Commercial Cartel" called [REDACTED]. This group not only half-dominates the black market in Texas but also operates as a professional business organization. They produce goods from the ground up by connecting with the right people in each faction. They have taught you the correct procedures to produce your own goods. Now you are not just buying the goods from the facility - you ARE the facility. You are the one making the products. You are part of the process of creating valuables. Also secretly, you run a product that is usually unsellable in the market but manage to sell it anyway. That is one of the true purposes of this [REDACTED] cartel.

Now, you can form your army, highly loyal and ready to serve you in each faction. They are everywhere in society, ready to serve the cause. Want to create some local valuables? Done. Need your key personnel to go into battle and raid others' assets? Easy.

What will you focus on? Where will you form your army of makers? Will you recruit some "citizens" to be part of your little cartel? As always, the choice is yours.

Backfire

A significant number of sales of specific faction's luxuries within a certain timeframe indicates that they have been looted by the Harriers more than other factions. Now they are furious, driven by wrath and hate, determined to find those who stole their luxuries.

Provoking the factions can be a precarious game, where one misstep can lead to a perilous BACKFIRE

There is NO way to deter this furious faction from searching for their stolen luxuries.

However, there are still opportunities for the harriers to defend their mercenaries against these marauding factions should they be equipped accordingly. (Read more)

Undeniably, as more mercenaries from certain factions are on looting on a specific day, this makes their looting missions more prominent - thus, the furious faction can easily track down who the mercenaries are.

Never be the "life" at the party (black market)

Let us reveal to you, the main weapon of a mercenary is the ability to work under deep cover. As more mercenaries start to sell more than a certain number of luxuries from the same faction within a certain amount of time, this will make your mercenaries' trading operations in the Black Market more prominent, the chance of the faction getting involved in Backfire increases.

Backfire formula

f(x)= \begin{cases} 0.45(\frac{\sqrt{(9x)^3}}{2}+0.5), & \mbox{if }0\le\mbox{x}\le0.1111111 \\ 0.45(\sqrt{x-\frac{1}{9}}\frac{1250}{2357}+1), & \mbox{if }0.1111111\le\mbox{x}\le1 \end{cases}

(x=num  of  mercenaries  on  specific  faction  /  num  of  total  mercenaries  on  looting)(x=num\;of\;mercenaries\;on\;specific\;faction\;/\;num\;of\;total\;mercenaries\;on\;looting)(x=numofmercenariesonspecificfaction/numoftotalmercenariesonlooting)

The Grey Mercenary

Grey Mercenaries are the NPCs that can be hired in the Black Market by Harriers. They are specialized in looting a particular faction through their own expertise. Therefore, when a Harrier must choose a faction to loot, they also need to consider the relevant expertise that each mercenary possesses. For this reason, Harrier cannot hire a mercenary with expertise from a faction related to the trait that Harrier has.

The Mercenaries can be hired by Harries with $2080 tokens. Once hired, they remain employed until they start a looting operation. Each mercenary requires a different amount of time for looting luxuries. Therefore, it is important for Harriers to choose a mercenary based on their staking schedules.

The Harriers

Role

In NFT-Fi, the term "Harrier" refers to a single Fidelion NFT. To join Fidelion NFT-Fi, a user must own at least one Fidelion NFT. A Harrier can have any of the nine Traits listed below, each corresponding to one of the nine factions in the Fidelion world.

Example: [HT] Grey Wool Ski Mask is a Trait that corresponds to Hunters (HT)

  • Accessory

  • Clothing

  • Eyewear

  • Full-face Mask

  • Headwear

  • Helmet

  • Marking

  • Mask

  • Weapon

Looting

Harriers can pursue their profits by looting the luxuries held by a particular faction. Harriers can choose a specific faction to loot the luxuries. The selection is related to the Harrier's traits described above.

A Harrier's trait is strongly tied to your Harrier's faction. If you try to break this tie or betray your faction, you may go through a major obstacle to survive in this harsh world.

For this reason, it is wiser to loot luxuries from other factions, rather than loot them from a faction you're tied with.

You can loot luxuries from a faction that your Harrier is not affiliated with, or "a faction with a trait that your Harrier does not have" by hiring a Gary Mercenary. In order to start a mission with your Grey Mercenary, your Harrier must be staked.

Fame

Harriers can build up their fame by spending $2080 tokens. The amount of $2080 tokens is required to proportionally increase each level of the fame.

As the level of fame increases, the number of Grey Mercenaries you can hire increases and allows you to loot multiple factions at the same time. Additionally, upon reaching certain fame levels, Harriers will be recognized by their faction for their achievements and will be eligible to officially join a faction. (This is a feature that will be updated in the future).

Stamina

When Harrier is looting with a mercenary, the stamina level will decrease. Stamina decreases proportionally to the duration of the looting execution time.

Low stamina can significantly delay the duration of a looting mission, and the amount of time and $2080 tokens required to recover varies. Hence it is important to manage the stamina before it turns out to be extremely low.

There are two ways to recover the stamina, and a Harrier can choose one:

  • Take a rest (Under Construction)

    • Harrier can recover stamina to 100% by taking a long rest. While taking a rest, Harrier has to be staked and won't be able to run a looting operation.

    • The duration of the rest period increases when Harrier has a worse stamina status. Also, the required time will increase proportionally by the Harrier's level.

    • While resting, Harrier can earn a certain amount of $2080 tokens, which is less than the amount that can be earned from looting. When Harrier is unstaked before the rest is ended, the Harrier will still earn a $2080 token based on the duration of staking time.

  • Take a recovery pill

    • Harrier can spend $2080 tokens to take a recovery pill and instantly restore stamina to 100%.

    • The amount of $2080 tokens required to take the pill will increase when Harrier has a worse stamina condition, and it will also increase proportionally by the Harrier's level.

Equipment

Equipment is a collection of items with a variety of options for defeating powerful enemies that can be equipped in six different areas. The stats and combat options of equipped gear will be reflected on the player's character, giving them an advantage in battle.

Grade

  • Every piece of equipment has a color-coded rank, and each rank activates special options.

  • All equipment can be merged to increase its rank, so players don't have to be disappointed if they get a low rank.

  • It's also worth noting that the higher the rank, the higher the level of equipment that can be maximally upgraded, and the greater the growth of key stats, so it's always a wise idea to have higher-ranked equipment.

Upgrade

  • Players can increase the main stats of their equipment by spending Gold and Designs that can be earned in-game.

  • The required Design must be the same Design as the part the player wishes to upgrade (e.g. to upgrade a weapon, a weapon Design is required).

  • Each piece of equipment has a level that determines how much it can be upgraded, so merging to create a higher-ranked piece of equipment is a must in order to get more upgrades.

Downgrade

  • To ensure that players don't become inactive in spending their scarce resources and designs, Mega Road supports a downgrade feature that returns 100% of the resources and designs spent on equipment upgrades.

  • The downgrade feature allows players to feel free to upgrade to new gear at any time.

Merge

  • Merging is the most important feature of a piece of equipment, and the only one that allows a player to increase the rank of a piece of equipment to a higher rank.

  • To merge, a player needs three completely identical items (same rank, part, and name) and consumes two of them to convert them into one item of the next higher rank.

  • However, at certain ranks, merging is allowed with items of the same rank and part instead of completely identical items, refer to the table below for details.

Main Characters

Willi A brave warrior and a man of action who speaks without words. As a child, Willi was taken into forced labor by a strange man. There were many other children like him in the man's house, and they were all forced to work under the scorching sun. Among the kids, Willi made his only friend, Elaine, and promised to run away together. Unfortunately, Willi got caught and was captured by his master while he was helping Elaine escape. They were separated for a long time. Now, Willi is finally free and on his way to find his friend. Don't ask how he became a free man; you better not know.

Mobi A timid old robot that Willi rescues from a group of big gangsters. When Willi brings Mobi to Jeffery to exchange for a new weapon, she suggests bringing him back to life instead. Mobi gains the ability to speak and becomes a loyal companion to Willi. As they progress through each stage, Mobi becomes more talkative, and when he gets angry, he can shoot weapons from his body.

Jeffery An intelligent and eccentric scientist who has experienced tragedy. Despite being confined to a wheelchair due to an unfortunate accident, her creativity knows no bounds. Jeffery collects abandoned mechanical parts to create new weapons in her atomic bomb house. When she meets Willi, she senses the adventure and excitement that lies ahead and suggests him to bring her bolts from the defeated monsters outside to create new weapons for Willi. Jeffery doesn't directly participate in the battles, but she plays an integral role in Willi's journey.

Fidelion NFT

The Harriers & The Citizens

In order to produce valuable goods in Black Market 2, you need to have at least one Fidelion NFT staked. Each NFT has different stats depending on its Fame level, stats, Purity, etc. The most important strategy in Black Market 2 is to place the right NFTs in each production process and combatant slot.

Affiliation

Fidelion NFTs were released in two collections: Harriers (1st Collection), which are NFTs with attributes of the 9 factions in the Fidelion universe, and Citizens (2nd Collection), which are part of the Fidelion Empire.

NFTs from each faction can be deployed in manufacturing activities to mine sSPL, but the difference is that Faction NFTs manufacture Luxuries and Empire NFTs manufacture Raw materials. (See the sSPL section)

Fame

NFTs can build up their fame by spending $VALOR tokens. The amount of $VALOR tokens is required to proportionally increase each level of the fame. The maximum level of Fame is 50.

As the NFT's Fame level increases, the maximum number of stats that can be raised increases, and the NFT can be placed on higher slots. (See the Manufacturing section)

Power Stats

NFTs can spend $VALOR to level up their Power stats. There are five Power stats in total, of which LUK and DEX affect NFT's efficiency in the manufacturing process, while HP, ATK, and DEF are used to determine chances of winning in Looting (Battle). Each stat has a maximum level of 90, and the amount of $VALOR to increase the stat increases proportionally. (See the Power Stats section)

Purity

Harriers have a different set of attributes, each of which belongs to a specific faction. Purity is a measure of how much of an attribute an NFT has for a particular faction. In other words, if an NFT has 3 attributes like "[HT]~~~", it has a Purity of 3 for Hunters.

The categories of Attributes that determine purity are listed below.

  • Accessory

  • Clothing

  • Eyewear

  • Full-face Mask

  • Headwear

  • Helmet

  • Marking

  • Mask

  • Weapon

  • Commander of the faction

(Note: Purity does not apply to Citizens)

Trade count

Trade count shows how many times the NFT has been traded on Fidelion's own marketplace (does not include trades on Magic Eden and Tensor). The more traded NFTs receive a discount when leveling up Fame and Stat. The discount rate is calculated as follows.

Discount rate(%)=Traded count10Discount\,rate(\%) = \frac{Traded\,count}{10}Discountrate(%)=10Tradedcount

For example, if the NFT has been traded 50 times on Fidelion's own marketplace, the discount rate will be 5%. The maximum discount rate is 30%.

OIL Tank & MRE Storage

All factions except Empire require $OIL or $MRE in the initial processing phase. This $OIL or $MRE must be stored in each faction's OIL Tank and MRE Storage, not in the user's wallet, before it can be used in the process.

The OIL Tank and MRE Storage have a limited capacity and can be expanded using $VALOR in five stages. The costs to expand Tank and Storage are as follows.

Because Tank and Storage exist independently for each faction, upgrades are not shared. When expanding Tank and Storage, be thoughtful about faction selection and deck composition.

Battle Logic

Each account's HP, Attack power, and Defense Power are determined by the sum of the stats and boosts of its deployed combatants.

Power Stats

Since Black Market 2 has a completely different game system than Black Market 1, all Harriers' previously leveled stats will be reset, and they will receive the same amount of Chrono Mileage they spent to level up ($2080 at the Regular Price) multiplied by 1.2 as a thank you to the OGs. Harriers can use their Chrono Mileage to rebuild their stats anew.

LUK

The LUK stat increases the probability of Critical that the amount of output will increase by a multiplier when manufacturing is complete.

Also uniquely, LUK changes its multiplier every time it reaches a certain level. The multipliers that apply are shown in the table below.

Level of LUK

Critical probability based on LUK level follows this formula:

Critical Probability(%)=Luk Level2Critical\,Probability(\%) = \frac{Luk\,Level}{2}CriticalProbability(%)=2LukLevel

When a Critical occurs, it consumes a higher amount of Input resources by that multiple. If there is not enough of the Input resource, a smaller multiple will be produced.

DEX

The DEX stat reduces the time of the manufacturing process by up to 75%.

The formula for the time reduction of a manufacturing based on the DEX stat level is as follows

Boost

While each process has a base output, there are some factors that can exponentially boost output. The factors that boost production are Stats, Deployed Slot, Purity, and Gold or Special Attribute.

The combination of each boost except Stats is an additive operation, not a multiplicative operation.

Stats

Among the stats, LUK and DEX have a significant impact on the productivity of NFTs (see Power Stats for more details).

Deployed Slot

NFTs placed on higher slots will receive a bigger boost to their manufacturing power. The boost percentage based on the number of slots is as follows. For deploying on higher slots, NFTs need higher Fame level. (See the Fame section)

Skill

Mega Road is a roguelike game in which players start with a level 1 character, each time entering a new stage to battle. Players can steadily gain experience by defeating waves of enemies, and leveling up their characters as they battle.

Acquiring Skills

Level Up:

  • As players defeat enemies in combat, they drop experience bolts.

  • Collecting bolts and filling the experience gauge bar at the top increases the player's character's level, providing them the opportunity to acquire new skills or improve existing ones.

Skill Chest:

  • When a player defeats an Elite or Boss Monster that appears during a battle, a Skill Chest will drop.

  • Picking up a Skill Chest grants players the opportunity to enhance their existing skills.

  • If a combination of skills is available at the time, players will always get the combination skill.

Active Skills

  • Active Skills are skills that directly attack enemies and are accompanied by visual effects, such as firing projectiles that fly in unique ways or creating an area around the character that attacks enemies in the vicinity. The way each skill attacks can give a player an advantage or disadvantage in combat, so be sure to use judgment when choosing a skill.

  • Active skills can be upgraded up to level 5, and reaching level 5 is a prerequisite for skill combinations, making it a top priority.

Passive Skills

  • Passive Skills are skills that do not directly attack enemies, but support the character's abilities, making the player's active skills more powerful or healing the character.

  • Passive skills can be upgraded up to level 5, but unlike Active Skills, they have lower priority because reaching level 5 is not a prerequisite for skill combinations.

Combining Skills

  • If a player fulfills the conditions by having all of the active and passive skills that correspond to each other, a player can combine them to get a combination skill.

  • Each combination skill can only be combined with two other skills, so it's best to make sure the skills are compatible with each other before acquiring them.

  • In particular, Active Skills must reach level 5 before they can be combined.

  • Most of the time, players will have a combination of one active skill and one passive skill, but in special cases, players can get a combination skill with two active skills.

  • In this case, both Active Skills must be at level 5 for the skill to combine.

  • If all of the requirements for the combination are fulfilled, players will have a chance to choose the combination skill when they level up their character, and in the case of skill chests, they will always get the combination skill.

  • When a combination skill is acquired, the active skill required for the combination is removed and replaced with the combination skill.

Combination Skills

  • Combination skills are skills that can be obtained by combining the previously described skills and are often very powerful, making them a must-have when dealing with powerful enemies.

  • They provide a more advanced form of animation and effects based on the active skill required for the combination, and allow players to take out a large number of enemies in an instant with their powerful performance.

Overview

Project Fidelion is primarily focused on enhancing the experience for NFT holders. To transform the experience beyond merely acquiring tokens through staking, the studio has been launched a staking website - The Black Market, in 2023.

In less than a year, the Black Market has generated over 1 million transactions and has become the most actively played NFT-Fi with over 90% of holders. However, the simplicity of the Black Market, its limitations as a solo game, and its sustainability remained an issue.

Therefore, we decided to launch a new NFT-Fi, Black Market 2. Black Market 2 is designed to be a more complex and interesting strategy-based game than the simple iterations of the original Black Market, but it also inherits the story of the original Black Market. Black Market 2 is a prequel universe to the original Black Market 1, which tells the story of how the Luxuries looted by the Harriers were produced. Black Market 2 also adds a number of De-Fi elements (Customed DEX, customed sSPL, etc.) that will further enrich the game's ecosystem.

Black Market 2 launches with a new NFT collection, Empire NFTs, and a new utility token, $VALOR. While you can still play Black Market 2 with the existing Harriers, Citizens will play a key role in producing the raw materials that underpin the game. The existing Black Market utility token, $2080, will be used to mint the Citizen NFTs.

The tokens rewarded through staking content can be used in various channels within the Fidelion ecosystem, contributing to the revitalization of the ecosystem.

Manufacturing

The production of Raw Materials or Luxuries for the Empire and each Faction requires sufficient labor and time. The number and type of processes that produce each product varies by faction, and up to 6 NFTs can be deployed per process. Naturally, in order for an NFT to work for a particular faction, it must prove to be a member of that faction. An NFT must have at least one of the attributes of that faction in order to be deployed. After several processes, sSPL can be earned, which can then be sold on the black market or through procurement announcements to earn $VALOR, the common currency of the Empire.

Deployment

A faction's factory will not accept traitors, so only NFTs that have at least one of the faction's attributes can be deployed.

Each process in each faction has 6 slots, so there can be up to 6 NFTs per process. When deploying NFTs in the process, you can start at a lower level. For example, if you want to deploy an NFT on the 4th slot, you must have other NFTs on the 1st through 3rd slots. Initially, only the first slot is unlocked, and a certain amount of $VALOR is required to unlock the next slot. NFTs placed on higher slots will receive a bigger boost to their manufacturing power. (See the boost section)

Because each process exists independently, the results for Slot Unlock are not shared. When unlocking Slots, be thoughtful about your faction choices and deck composition.

All processes for all factions except the Empire require input materials. If enough input materials are available, the NFT will begin manufacturing from the moment it is deployed.

Project Fidelion

Getting Started with Fidelion

Fidelion is a story and art-driven IP project in a post-apocalyptic setting.

The project is based on a dystopian story created through one empire, nine factions, and one story (\191\).

Our goal is to depart from the conventional NFTs that often vanish after the initial sale.

Fidelion distinguishes itself as an IP project, meticulously developed through countless team discussions and profound reflections, emphasizing the highest quality art and a compelling narrative by the team.

The project is intricately designed to appeal to both Web2 gamers and content enthusiasts. It transcends the realm of NFTs, featuring a cohesive structure carefully crafted by experienced Web2 designers and storytellers.

We strive to create content that truly resonates with our users.

sSPL

The stealable SPL (sSPL) is a new token specification created using TOKEN2022 that is designed to be SPL compliant but not send or spend tokens outside of Black Market 2. This new token specification allowed us to implement our own DEX, while still enabling game mechanics where you can steal tokens from your opponents through a looting system.

In Black Market 2, 11 sSPLs and 1 standard SPL ($VALOR) are used, with the sSPLs divided into 2 raw materials and 9 Luxuries.

Raw materials

Citizens can manufacture the raw materials $MRE and $OIL with minimal processing. Raw materials are essential to the process of manufacturing Luxuries, i.e., they serve as the basic resources for all processes. However, $OIL and $MRE are resources manufactured in the empire, so there is no need to import resources through procurement.

Oil - $OIL (Empire)

Oil is the foundation of Fidelion's development and its sustaining power. Extracted from drilling plants and finally refined at the Fidelion Tower, the refined oil is the most valuable resource, with a versatility comparable to Valor currency.

MRE - $MRE (Empire)

The staple food of the Fidelians. Due to its stable supply and practicality, it is treated as a currency almost as valuable as oil. We can’t say they taste great, but expecting gourmet quality is just too much to ask given that the whole planet has become a barren wasteland. But wait, how are they growing ingredients in such a wasteland?

Luxuries

Harriers can manufacture Luxuries based on raw materials. Luxuries are specialties that symbolize each faction. Through each faction's process, raw materials can be processed into Luxuries using NFTs' labor and time.

Voodoo Doll - $VD (Blattas)

Most members of Blattas carry a crude voodoo doll made from twigs. These dolls are used to decorate their bikes, as companions when they have no one to talk to, and as grave markers when their young comrades are laid to rest beneath the earth contaminated with radioactivity.

Gold Teeth - $GT (Hunters)

When the Hunters capture prisoners, they meticulously inspect prisoners’ teeth and collect gold ones. These gold teeth are considered as the trophies of successful hunts, as well as accessories and tokens. Stories even speak of Hunters implanting these stolen gold teeth into their own gaping, toothless gums. However, this seems more likely to be a myth than reality misled by their infamous brutality.

JB Whiskey - $JBW (JackNBoyz)

We all at least once heard the famous quote from Jack, the leader of JackNBoyz.

"Even if the world were to go down to shit, there is one thing I would never give up on. Whiskey.”

The essence of JB Whiskey may be closer to crude home-brewed beer than actual whiskey, but aren’t mood and the label all that matters?"

Canteen - $CT (Nine Fingers)

The bottles that members of Nine Fingers carry around all the time raise several questions: what exactly is inside them, where to obtain them from, and why Nine Fingers always carry them, etc. However, no matter which question you ask, there's only one answer you'll ever hear: "Ask Dave.”

G Badge - $GB (Gary's Lounge)

The G badge symbolizes Gary's Lounge. This badge serves as a pass to the lounge's secret chamber, where critical missions, smuggling deals, and highly confidential discussions take place. To obtain the badge, one must complete a secret mission assigned specifically by the faction leader Gary.

Holy Water - $HW (Caballeros)

Members of the Caballeros each create their own bottle of water through personal purification methods. Which are then blessed by the faction's leading priests to be considered as Holy Water. The issue lies in the violent nature of the blessing ritual, which diverges significantly from the customs of any era.

Used Engine - $UE (Quasars)

To achieve independence from petroleum energy produced in Fidelion, the Quassars had to seek alternative energy sources. Surprisingly, they advanced to creating bipedal combat mechs using coal. Their technological prowess has positioned them as one of the few formidable forces capable of challenging Fidelion.

Enhanced Bullet - $EB (Zaikasha)

For Zaikasha, there are never enough bullets to bring down Fidelion's massive fortress walls. When producing reinforced bullets, members of ZaikaSha primarily use stolen bullets from Fidelia's weapon factories, as there's no greater satisfaction than piercing through the enemy's skull using ammunition stolen directly from them.

Oil Lighter Case - $OLC (Kossacks)

The lighter case symbolizes the pride of the elite unit, Kossacks. It requires a lengthy and complex process to obtain it. One must prove oneself within the faction, receive commendations, personally procure the raw materials, and deliver them to a skilled craftsman, so one can finally grasp this lighter case in one’s hand. Yet, considering the symbolism and swagger of this lighter, the arduous journey is deemed worthwhile. Of course, assuming one is confident enough not to perish along the way.

vAMM (Virtual AMM)

Overview

The Virtual Automated Market Maker (vAMM) system is the core of Black Market's exchange. vAMM facilitates exchange between sSPL and VALOR tokens to ensure price stability and adequate liquidity.

The below models can be updated due to the balance update

Key Definitions and Variables

  • Volatility Parameter: Parameter to control volatility. Calculated with C and k value

  • k: Constant to give minimum stability to the system

  • SSS: Total supply of specific sSPL tokens.

  • SoldS_{old}Sold: Total supply of specific sSPL tokens before the calculation.

  • SnewS_{new}Snew: Total supply of specific sSPL tokens after the calculation.

  • ΔS\Delta SΔS: represents the trade-induced change in supply.

  • PintP_{int}Pint: Price of the sSPL when initialized.

  • PoldP_{old}Pold: Price of the sSPL before calculation.

  • PnewP_{new}Pnew: Price of the sSPL after calculation.

  • PavgP_{avg}Pavg: The price of the sSPL applies to a specific trade.

Models

The vAMM model dynamically adjusts the token price to provide appropriate stability and volatility while ensuring symmetry in trading.

Symmetric Model

vAMM calculates the price after the trade using the symmetric model.

  • Calculation based on sSPL amount

Pnew=Pold×(1+ΔSk+Sold)P_{new} = P_{old} \times (1 + \frac{\Delta S}{k + S_{old}} )Pnew=Pold×(1+k+SoldΔS)

  • Calculate based on VALOR budget

ΔS=BPold+Pnew2=2BPold+Pnew\Delta S = \frac{B}{\frac{P_{old} + P_{new}}{2}} = \frac{2B}{P_{old} + P_{new}} ΔS=2Pold+PnewB=Pold+Pnew2B

∴Pnew=Pold2+2B⋅Poldk+Sold\therefore P_{new} = \sqrt{P_{old}^2 + \frac{2B \cdot P_{old}}{k + S_{old}}} ∴Pnew=Pold2+k+Sold2B⋅Pold

Average Price Model

vAMM swap transaction works based on the average price before the trade and the adjusted price after the trade.

Pavg=Pold+Pnew2P_{avg} = \frac{P_{old} + P_{new}}{2}Pavg=2Pold+Pnew

Price Adjustment Due to External Changes

If the supply of sSPL tokens changes outside of vAMM trades, the system adjusts the price using the following equation:

Pnew={Pint+(Pold−Pint)(2k+Sold)2k+Snewif  Pold>PintPint−(Pint−Pold)(2k+Sold)2k+Snewif  Pold≤PintP_{\text{new}} = \begin{cases} P_{\text{int}} + \frac{(P_{\text{old}} - P_{\text{int}})(2k + S_{\text{old}})}{2k + S_{\text{new}}} & \text{if} \,\, P_{\text{old}} > P_{\text{int}} \\ P_{\text{int}} - \frac{(P_{\text{int}} - P_{\text{old}})(2k + S_{\text{old}})}{2k + S_{\text{new}}} & \text{if} \,\, P_{\text{old}} \le P_{\text{int}} \end{cases} Pnew={Pint+2k+Snew(Pold−Pint)(2k+Sold)Pint−2k+Snew(Pint−Pold)(2k+Sold)ifPold>PintifPold≤Pint

k=100000/Pintk = 100000 / P_{int}k=100000/Pint

Welcome to Tidal Flats Studio

Tidal Flats Studio is a creative studio specializing in the development of Web3-based products and services.

We are an IP and brand value-focused content studio with the goal of creating strong fandoms with the PFP community on Web3.

Tidal Flats Studio aims to strengthen the IP in the following order:

  1. Build an NFT community with a hardcore fan base

  2. Release games targeting the Web2 masses

  3. Expand IP into multimedia franchises

  4. Licensing and merchandising strategy

In the early stages of building our IP and brand, we create a strong web3 community by launching digital collectibles and maximizing community value by developing IP that is loved by the web3 community.

We use this as a foundation to reduce the risk of failure of our first projects and lower initial marketing costs. This process allows us to strengthen and refine the focus of our community. Our IP gives us a solid foundation to grow with the support of our community as we develop and refine our games and other products and services.

The first project from the Tidal Flats studio is "Project Fidelion", launched on Web3.

The Fidelion Project is directly involved in the first phase of the IP expansion strategy outlined above. The Fidelion Project has allowed us to build a strong NFT community globally, and we look forward to working with that community to spread the word about Fidelion’s IP.

Fidelion will appeal not only to Web3, but also to Web2 IP lovers and fiction lovers with its carefully crafted world and backstory.

Under the leadership of these people, we are taking Fidelion to the next level.

Procurement

There is high demand for luxury items from each faction among the Empire’s elite, leading the Empire to post regular procurement announcements to officially import these luxuries.

The Black Market (DEX) will be unavailable for 30 minutes immediately after a procurement is created, and the Claim function will be unavailable for 1 hour after the procurement is created.

Procurement plans are created twice daily, at 00:00 UTC and 12:00 UTC. At these times, the exact posting time remains hidden from users. Instead, each procurement goes live at a random time slot, excluding 00:00 UTC, 06:00 UTC, 12:00 UTC, and 18:00 UTC.

Specifically, plans created at 00:00 UTC are posted at a random time between 01:00 and 11:00 UTC (covering 10 time slots). And plans created at 12:00 UTC are posted at a random time between 13:00 and 23:00 UTC (also covering 10 time slots).

The quantities and prices of these imported luxuries fluctuate. Since managing these variables is critical to controlling inflation in the black market, we have developed an Automated Token Distributor (ATD) and integrated it into the procurement system. The ATD automatically adjusts the daily procurement quantities and prices, helping stabilize $VALOR’s inflation.

There's a Black Market on Fidelia, where all sorts of black marketeers gather to trade goods in secret. The Black Market is Fidelion's own vAMM-based DEX, where users can freely trade raw materials and luxuries.

The Black Market offers swap functionality by default and provides liquidity for a total of 12 pools. Of these, the $VALOR-$SOL pool is integrated into Jupiter for free trading and liquidity, while the other 11 pools are liquidated based on vLP and can only be traded on the Black Market.

Available Pool

  • $VALOR - $SOL

  • $OIL - $VALOR

  • $MRE - $VALOR

  • $VD- $VALOR

  • $GT- $VALOR

  • $JBW- $VALOR

  • $CT- $VALOR

  • $GB- $VALOR

  • $HW- $VALOR

  • $UE- $VALOR

  • $EB- $VALOR

  • $OLC- $VALOR

Trading Fee (Tax)

Trading fees on the black market are 4%, which is a tax, with 50% going to each faction's tax collectors and the other 50% going to the Treasury. For example, 50% of the fees generated by the $VD-$VALOR pool will be earned by the Tax Collectors who chose Blattas on Black Market 1. However, the tax collectors of Empire (Citizen NFTs) will get 100% of trading fee as tax-from OIL&MRE pairs-.

Jake's Exploitation

(Under Construction)

A ruthless dictator, Jake keeps a check on the rising nobility whose wealth exceeds his control. Some of the players who hold sSPL will be raided by Jake's forces, apart from looting by other players.

Jake's Exploitation is designed to implement a robust depletion model for sSPL. Its primary function is to regulate the total supply of sSPL within the ideal range, safeguarding the desired volatility in the DEX system. Jake's Exploitation has the following rules:

Jake's Exploitation has the following rules:

  • Jake's army tries to invade and exploit 20% of all users once a day (this number may change in future balance patches). Users who are attacked by Jake have one of two choices

  1. Give in: The user can pay 10% of their sSPL to Jake to get out of the situation.

  2. Fight back: The user can fight back against Jake, and if they win, they can move on quietly without any exploitation. However, if the user loses, 30% of their sSPL will be taken by Jake. But, losing does not turn the combatant NFTs into a injured state.

  • Jake's army has exactly the same ATK, DEF, and HP as the user's, so the win rate is always 50%.

  • If the user's current HP is 0, the Fight back option is not available.

  • Even if the user was recently looted and is in Protection, it won't stop Jake from looting them.

  • All sSPL looted by Jake's Exploitation system will be burned.

  • If Jake invades and no choice is made within a week, the user will automatically lose 30% of their sSPL.

This system will be activated soon.

The Black Market

The Middleman

The Middleman is an NPC who stores and sells looted luxuries in the Black Market. After Harriers and the mercenaries have completed their looting operation, they store the looted luxuries with the Middleman and request him to sell them. This Middleman sells the luxuries according to the trends of the Black Market.

Middlemen are not professionally trained warriors, but their business skills allow them to strike good deals in the Black Market. This is why Harriers prefer to sell their looted luxuries to the Middleman. In return, Harriers provide protection for the Middleman, safeguarding him from attacks by outlaws and ensuring the safe sale of items.

Price Fluctuations

All luxuries have a minimum and maximum price and fluctuate within that range based on market trends. The market price changes every few hours, and it's up to Harriers to decide when to sell. Every few hours, the Middleman will monitor the Black Market and alert Harriers for any changes in the price. If Harriers are not satisfied with the current price, they can also pay the Middleman a certain amount of $2080 tokens and instantly reset the price for all looted luxuries.

Risk for Better Price

Each luxury item has a safe selling time. during which the Middleman can safely sell the items in the Black Market. However, each item has a different safe selling time, so it's important to keep track of remaining time to ensure not make a loss. Based on the experiences, the Middleman intuitively knows how risky Harriers' luxuries are.

If the safe selling time runs out, the Harriers whose luxuries were stolen will start to search for the looters. This will increase the chance of catching you and your Middleman. Since the Middleman is not a trained warrior, securing his safety will come as his first priority. Hence, if he feels it's too risky to sell your luxuries, he will stop the sale and run away. However, there are two possible scenarios you can risk with him:

  1. If you get caught by the Harrier, your Middleman will lose all of your items. In this case, you won't be able to get your lost luxuries back and earn any profit.

  2. If you don't get caught by the Harrier, your Middleman will suggest a better price. Since the Middleman is very anxious and stressed, he wants to sell the luxuries instantly. Therefore, he will compromise some of his margins and offer you more profits to persuade you to sell your luxuries immediately.

Over time, the anxious Middleman will give up more of his margin and offer you a better price to encourage you to sell. Therefore, you should consider the market price and safe selling time to determine the optimal time to sell your luxuries for higher profit. However, bear in mind that you will never know when your Middleman might be discovered by other Harriers.

[OLD] Black Market

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Black Market 1 will be ended soon in August.

"Oh, you want to join the Quasars? I'm well aware of their rigid discipline. But in the end, aren't you going to make your money in elsewhere, with Grey Mercenary like us?"

Sometime around 2080, many Harriers were considering various options for their transfers. For some, it was an inevitable and unavoidable part of life, as they would not be able to survive if they were not in a group that suited them and provided protection. However, some Harriers were unhappy with the process of choosing their faction, as most factions had very specific tax systems and internal revenue rules, restricting their ability to conduct business freely. This was understandable for those who joined a faction to make more money.

In Fidelia, a rumor began to circulate. It originated from a ramshackle bar far from the center of Houston. The rumor suggested that a mercenary group existed to smuggle valuables within the city under the radar of each faction. There was one mercenary group for each faction, and for security's sake, they did not deal with those affiliated with the same faction at all. This meant that Harriers now had a choice. Would they follow the rules of their faction and keep their valuables within internal circulation, or would they choose to sell their valuables for a much higher price?

As always, the choice is yours.

ATD (Automated Token Distributor)

Overview

The Automated Token Distributor (ATD) is a core component of VALOR's token distribution strategy. This document explains the ATD’s budget distribution mechanisms.

The below models can be updated due to the balance update

1. Budget Distribution

ATD’s budget distribution framework employs a probabilistic approach based on a standard normal distribution to allocate resources effectively across various tokens and market segments.

Key Definitions and Variables

  • Normal Distribution (PDF): A probability distribution function used to allocate budgets fairly, with a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of 1.

  • Budget Allocation Ratios: Ratios are derived from the PDF to determine the portion of the total budget allocated to each token.

  • Total Budget: It is set at 110% of the inflow over 12 hours. It is rounded down to 9 decimal places, and the remainder is discarded.

Process Explanation

  1. Total Budget Calculation:

    1. Case 1 (Accumulated Inflow < Accumulated Outflow):

      • The total budget is set at 110% of the inflow over the past 12 hours plus any carried-over budget

        Btotal=⌊(1.1×Inflow)×109⌋/109B_{total} = \left\lfloor (1.1 \times Inflow) \times 10^9 \right\rfloor / 10^9 Btotal=⌊(1.1×Inflow)×109⌋/109
        • Here, InflowInflowInflow is the inflow over the past 12 hours.

    2. Case 2 (Accumulated Inflow > Accumulated Outflow):

      • The total budget is set at sum of each sSPL supply and ideal price.

        Btotal=∑S×PidlB_{total} = \sum S \times P_{idl}Btotal=∑S×Pidl
      • Maximum budget = (Accumulated Inflow - Accumulated Outflow) * 1.1

  2. Random Factor Generation:

    • Generate a random number within the range of [-0.5, 0.5] from a normal distribution with a mean of 0 and a standard deviation of 1. This controls the variability in budget allocation.

    • Calculate the probability density p(xi)p(x_i)p(xi) for each random factor xix_ixi. This density influences how the budget is divided. The probability density function is:

      p(xi)=12πe−xi22p(x_i) = \frac{1}{\sqrt{2\pi}} e^{-\frac{x_i^2}{2}}p(xi)=2π1e−2xi2
  3. Budget Allocation:

    • Convert these densities into budget allocation ratios:

      Ri=p(xi)∑j=19p(xj)R_i = \frac{p(x_i)}{\sum_{j=1}^{9} p(x_j)} Ri=∑j=19p(xj)p(xi)
    • Allocate the total budget to various tokens using these ratios:

      Bi=⌊Ri×Btotal×109⌋/109B_i = \left\lfloor R_i \times B_{total} \times 10^9 \right\rfloor / 10^9 Bi=⌊Ri×Btotal×109⌋/109

2. Price Setting

The ATD's price-setting mechanism dynamically adjusts token prices around an ideal price to reflect market values.

Key Definitions and Variables

  • Ideal Price (PidlP_{idl}Pidl): The target price for the tokens.

  • Reference Price (PrefP_{ref}Pref): The market price of the token in Black Market.

  • Next Price (PnxtP_{nxt}Pnxt): The price of the token after adjustment.

  • Standard Deviation (σ\sigmaσ): Controls the spread of price values around PidlP_{idl}Pidl.

These variables will be initialized on the procurement creation

Standard Deviation Calculation

The standard deviation σ\sigmaσ is calculated as:

σ=Pidl22ln⁡(10)\sigma = \sqrt{\frac{P_{idl}^2}{2 \ln(10)}}σ=2ln(10)Pidl2

This calculation determines the range of price fluctuations around the ideal price PidlP_{idl}Pidl, adjusting for market volatility.

Price Determination Model

Random Price Determination Model

This model dynamically calculates the next token price using a probability distribution function centered on PidlP_{idl}Pidl.

Detailed Process

  1. Define Price Range:

    • Establish the effective price range for the next pricing cycle:

      Effective Price Range=[Pref×0.9,Pref×1.4]\text{Effective Price Range} = [P_{ref} \times 0.9, P_{ref} \times 1.4]Effective Price Range=[Pref×0.9,Pref×1.4]
  2. Generate PDF:

    • Create a normal distribution centered on PidlP_{idl}Pidl with the calculated σ\sigmaσ.

  3. Calculate Area Under Curve:

    • Determine the total probability area under the PDF within the defined range:

      A=∫Pref×0.9Pref×1.4f(x) dxA = \int_{P_{ref} \times 0.9}^{P_{ref} \times 1.4} f(x) \, dxA=∫Pref×0.9Pref×1.4f(x)dx
  4. Generate Random Factor and Set Next Price:

    • Select a random value within the range [0, A], and determine the corresponding price using the inverse cumulative distribution function (CDF):

      Pnxt=f−1(r)P_{nxt} = f^{-1}(r)Pnxt=f−1(r)
    • Here, f−1f^{-1}f−1 is the inverse function of the CDF, accurately determining the price corresponding to the random value rrr.

  5. Final Quantity Adjustment:

    • Calculate the maximum quantity that can be purchased with the allocated budget:

      Qi=⌊BiPnxt⌋Q_i = \left\lfloor \frac{B_i}{P_{nxt}} \right\rfloorQi=⌊PnxtBi⌋
    • Round down to ensure accurate quantity calculation. (If Qi<1Q_i < 1Qi<1, set QiQ_iQi to 1)

    • Adjust the final price using the actual quantity purchased:

      Pfinal=⌊BiQi×103⌋/103P_{final} = \left\lfloor \frac{B_i}{Q_i} \times 10^3 \right\rfloor / 10^3Pfinal=⌊QiBi×103⌋/103
    • The final price PfinalP_{final}Pfinal is rounded down to 3 decimal places.

    Binew=Bi−(Qi×Pfinal)B_i^\text{new} = B_i - (Q_i \times P_{final})Binew=Bi−(Qi×Pfinal)

Looting (Battle)

Looting is a PvP system that is a core feature of Black Market 2. Are you just waiting for the price of your tokens to increase? If so, you'll have to be on your toes to make sure they don't get looted before then.

Users can search for other users in the Wasteland and attempt to loot them, and if successful, take a certain amount of their sSPL tokens. Failure will leave the deployed Combatants injured and incapacitated.

Combatants

In order to loot other users' tokens, or to defend against looting, you need to deploy combatants. There are 10 combatant slots, one for each faction, and NFTs can only be placed in a slot if they have a Purity of 1 or higher for that faction.

Deploying more than 5 combatants provides a 10% boost to all stats (HP, ATK, DEF), while deploying 10 combatants provides a 20% boost.

Shuffle

Before you can loot, you need to search for a target to attack. When you click the Shuffle button, one of the accounts with at least one sSPL token will be randomly matched. Users are entitled to one free shuffle per day, and if they don't like the match, they can pay $VALOR to try up to three additional shuffles per day.

Premium Shuffle is a slightly more expensive option that allows users to be randomly matched with one of the top 10% of users with the highest value of their current balances.

Once a user has been looted and their tokens stolen, they are protected for 12 hours and cannot be matched, and if they successfully defend themselves, they are protected for 4 hours.

Battle

By pressing the Battle button, you can attempt to loot the matched account. Before starting the battle, you will be given a preview of your chances of winning, which is calculated by comparing the total stats of the Combatants on both accounts. (For more information, see the Battle Logic section)

A user can only attempt to loot once per 18 hours.

Revenge

Want to get revenge on someone who looted you? Hit the Revenge button and you'll be matched against the last opponent to loot you.

Steal rate

Currently, the steal rate is 30%, meaning that a successful loot will take 30% of all sSPL held by the opponent. The attacker does not lose sSPL even if they lose. This number is subject to change in a balance patch.

Broken rate

Some of the sSPLs taken on successful looting may be broken during the looting process. Broken sSPLs will be automatically burned. Current broken rate is 10%(this can be changed by balance patch update). So, currently, the successful attacker will get 20% of all sSPL held by opponent.

Resting & Injured

Upon successful looting, the deployed combatant NFTs will be in the Resting state, and upon failed looting, they will be in the Injured state.

  • Resting: Cannot be unstaked for 18 hours. Production activities can continue as normal.

  • Injured: Permanently unstakable and unavailable for deployment at manufacturing and battle. The power of injured combatants won't be reflected to user's power. The NFT can be recovered by paying $VALOR. Remains Resting after recovery (as long as it is within 18 hours).

Fortune Rush

A strange man in a black hood approaches you and whispers.

"I happened to notice that you have something I want. How about you trade with me, I'll pay you double the current market price! OR even 4x, 7x and 10x, depending on your luck, rumors have it that Middleman have the uncanny ability to identify lucky mercenaries.

The suddenness of this strange man's offer makes you hesitate. Your gut tells you so.

Success in this venture is likely to hinge more on your Harrier's LUK attribute than solely on the probability of encountering just 2x rewards in Fortune Rush event. ()

You find yourself at a crossroads, torn between taking a chance on this offer or playing it safe. Remember, the cautious path of passive staking is always an option.

Yet, every looting mission is an opportunity laden with uncertainty and adventure.

Burning Token (Deflation)

The $TIDE token can be burned through the various activities. (TBA)

Event

The chance of certain events occurring fluctuates on a daily basis. The harriers must carefully observe and strategize accordingly based on the chances associated with each event assigned to their mercenaries' faction.

Upon acquiring the mercenaries' items and subsequently selling them to the Middleman, the player concludes their looting and becomes subject to the fate of encountering one of the following events:

  1. Backfire: Lose looted luxuries upon trading with Middle Man

  2. Fortune Rush: Get at least 2x rewards upon trading with Middle Man

However, if you're not involved in any of the events, you will get an expected price for your looting instead. While rerolling is not an option for these events, you can still try your luck to obtain a better expected price if necessary.

The event chances are heavily affected by the emission revenue ratio, ER and the mercenaries looting ratio, ML.

ML = (current mercenaries on looting for each faction/total mercenaries on looting)

ER = Emission / Revenue

As more mercenaries from certain factions are on looting on a specific day, this makes it easier for the furious faction to discover who the mercenaries are. Now, you made it easier for them to discover who has been looting their luxuries. As a result, the chance of a complete loss of looted items during the luxury trade increases.

Moreover, with more mercenaries on looting from the factions, this will affect token emission on that day.

Furthermore, the increase in the number of mercenaries from certain factions participating in looting affects token emission on that particular day. The Emission-to-Revenue (ER) ratio is calculated by dividing the total emission by the revenue. This ER is reset daily, adjusting emission and revenue to maintain a fixed ER throughout the day.

Thus, if the population (indicating the number of looted luxuries to be traded and redeemed for the specific faction on a given day) rises while the revenue remains relatively constant, players who hit the expected price will receive a lower trading price for their looted luxuries.

For example, on a specific day:

KS faction:

Backfire: 50%

Fortune Rush: 12.5%

Regular Price: 37.5%

QS faction:

Backfire: 60%

Fortune Rush: 10%

Regular Price: 30%

Apart from optimizing factions for looting based on event probabilities and the number of mercenaries in each faction, players will also have the opportunity to enhance the power stats of their harriers to maximize their Return on Investment (ROI). More on that in Power Stats.

Overview

Mega Road is a mobile game and represents the first Web2-only project utilizing Fidelion's IP. The game is designed to appeal to as many Web2 users as possible and is intended to be a casual game that is easily accessible to a wide audience.

The game is a roguelike ARPG in which players control a friendly, cute character and use various skill combinations to defeat numerous enemies on prepared stages. Mega Road is available for free download through the Android and Apple app stores, allowing users to play the game at no cost.

[EOL] Mega Road

It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since we first launched Mega Road on October 30, 2023. We’re incredibly grateful for the support and passion our community has shown along the way. However, it is with a heavy heart that we must share some unfortunate news, and we apologize for any disappointment this may cause. As of October 30, 2024, Mega Road’s official service will come to an end. We’ve done our best to deliver an engaging and enjoyable experience, but after careful consideration, we’ve made the difficult decision to discontinue the service. We truly appreciate everyone who has been a part of this journey with Mega Road, and we hope it has brought you some great memories.

Mega Road aims to establish an IP that sets a new benchmark, not just for the development of a single game but for multiple works. It represents the first game developed within Project Fidelion, which is planned as a long-term game development initiative.

In traditional game development, creating a unique IP for each game is essential. This demands deep thought, consideration and resources for each IP. This becomes a challenge that smaller game companies cannot sustain for a long term. Thus, Tidal Flats Studio intends to overcome the limitations of mobile games by anchoring the core IP within the web3.0 ecosystem.

Mega Road strives to create a solid foundation for the entire project by constructing it within a unique environment centered on blockchain and metaverse, establishing a framework for the project based on these technologies. The primary goal of the project is to build a community of Solana's NFTs that reflects to the value of the IP. It aims to create a scalable revenue structure by developing mobile games based on the highly loyal enthusiast base that it has been generated.

The Faction's Luxuries

These are the examples of luxuries representing each faction that Harrier will loot from others. Each luxury represents a faction. Therefore, when Harrier decides which faction to loot and hires a Grey Mercenary, Harrier will only acquire the luxuries from that specific faction. Harriers are not allowed to loot luxuries from the factions with which they share attributes. Betraying affiliated faction is one of the biggest taboos among Harriers. After looting luxuries from other factions, Harriers can earn $2080 tokens by selling looted luxuries in the Black Market.

The Middleman in the Black Market

All looted luxuries will be stored by The Middleman in the Black Market after the mercenaries complete their looting operation. Each of these luxuries has a different value, and it's crucial to recognize them and assess the investment risks.

Tokenomics

Fairness and sustainability are our studio's commitment to creating a stable and sustainable economy. Despite the challenges facing the NFT and P2E ecosystem, we believe that the token economy can be used as a tool, not solely for monetization.

We believe that a healthy deflationary system can incentivize in-game activity, creating value and fostering growth. We are confident that this approach will lead to a balanced and healthy in-game economy. We are dedicated to improving and refining the system to ensure a level playing field for all players.

Base Information

Roguelike

  • The player's character starts at level 1 in every battle, regardless of the outcome of the previous game. The types and order of skills will also change, requiring players to think of new combinations and strategies each time.

Survival

  • Defend your character against various types of mutants, monsters, mechs, and harriers, and defeat powerful bosses to earn a variety of rewards for upgrading your character.

Equipment

  • Enhance and merge equipable items from all six sections to create more powerful gear to survive against fearsome enemies.

Skill

  • To combat the numerous enemies, players will need to choose their skills carefully, as there are active skills that deal direct damage, as well as passive skills that support the player's character's abilities, and the two can be combined to create even more powerful skills.

Other Contents

In addition to the main content of stage battles and equipment, Mega Road offers a variety of sub-content to keep players entertained.

DNA Lab

  • This is content that experiments with Willi's DNA and allows players to uncover various physical abilities in the lab that will enhance Willi's ability or give him special effects.

  • These inventions are evenly distributed in each body part's DNA, and to enhance more body parts, players need to increase their Mega Road account level.

  • Players can only experiment with areas that have the same number as their current account level, and in order to increase their account level, they must steadily earn account experience by playing main battle and patrol content.

  • These physical abilities can be unearthed and activated using in-game Gold, and these enhanced body parts will empower Willi in battle.

  • However, some rare specialty DNAs can be activated with DNA Point instead of Gold.

  • DNA Point can only be earned through Challenge Mode, which we'll discuss below.

  • However, most specialized DNAs add new features that weren't there before or are a huge help in battle, so it's highly recommended that players activate them to take down difficult enemies.

Challenge

  • Challenges are content that players can access as they clear stages through the main battles, Also they are the only content that earns the DNA Points needed to activate the special physical enhancement described above.

  • Each Challenge stage is identical to the stages that players have experienced in the main battle, but with various effects added to favor the enemies that appear, it will be much more challenging. Hence it's better to be prepared by constantly upgrading the player's gear and activating DNA experiments.

  • Challenge stages are available in a total of three difficulty levels for each main stage a player clears, and the number of effects that favor enemies increases as the difficulty level increases. In addition to DNA Points, players can also earn gems, the game's main currency, by completing Challenges, which is essential for character development.

Patrol

  • Patrols are for players who don't play for long periods of time and need a break.

  • Instead of playing for long periods of time, players can earn various rewards and account experience with a few simple taps.

  • However, players cannot progress beyond a set number of times each day and cannot earn infinite rewards due to the energy required for the main battle.

Quest

  • There are quests that renew on a daily and weekly basis, and players can earn various rewards for completing them to improve their character.

  • There are also achievements that do not renew and are cumulative, and when players complete them, they are rewarded with gems, the main in-game currency.

Daily Reward

  • This is content that rewards players for visiting Mega Road every day with a small reward, and it updates at 0:00 UTC.

  • There are 7 days of rewards in total, and once a player has earned all 7 days of rewards, they will be rewarded back to Day 1.

  • There are also additional rewards for consecutive visits to the Mega Road, so players are encouraged to play the game every day without missing it.
